Store Design & Theme
Custom Flatsome / WooCommerce design aligned with your brand — professional, fast-loading, and conversion-focused from the homepage through to the checkout page.
WooCommerce powers 39% of all online stores worldwide — and for good reason. Built on WordPress, it gives you complete ownership, zero platform transaction fees, and unlimited flexibility to sell physical products, digital downloads, or subscriptions. Arb Digital Marketing Agency builds fully configured, conversion-optimised WooCommerce stores from scratch — for businesses worldwide.
Shopify and other hosted e-commerce platforms charge monthly subscription fees, take a percentage of every transaction (on top of payment processor fees), and restrict what you can and cannot do with your store. WooCommerce is fundamentally different — it is free, open-source software that you install on your own WordPress hosting.
This means you pay only your hosting costs and chosen payment processor rates — nothing to WooCommerce itself, ever. You own the store software, the customer data, the order history, and the product catalogue outright. There is no vendor lock-in, no platform that can increase prices or change terms, and no artificial ceiling on what your store can do.
Simple, variable, and grouped products with inventory tracking, shipping classes, and weight/dimension rules
eBooks, software, media files, templates — with secure download delivery and licence key generation
Recurring billing products — weekly, monthly, or annually — with automatic renewal and payment retry logic
Products with multiple attributes — size, colour, material — each variation with its own price, SKU, and stock level
Shopify’s SEO capabilities are severely limited by its platform structure — URL formats are fixed, blog functionality is basic, and technical SEO control is restricted. WooCommerce inherits WordPress’s unmatched SEO infrastructure, giving your store every competitive advantage in organic search.

Clear answers about WooCommerce vs other platforms, payment setup, product types, timelines, and what you need to get started.
WooCommerce gives you complete store ownership with no monthly platform fees and no transaction fees beyond your payment processor’s rates. You own your store software, customer data, and product catalogue outright — there is no vendor to increase prices or change terms. WooCommerce also has significantly stronger SEO capabilities than Shopify, inheriting WordPress’s unmatched content and technical SEO infrastructure. With 59,000+ plugins available, WooCommerce can do virtually anything Shopify can — and much that Shopify cannot.
We configure Stripe (our primary recommendation — lowest fees, best UX, available in 46+ countries), PayPal including PayPal Pay Later, Square, Authorize.net, WooPayments (Stripe-powered, available in select countries), Klarna, and Afterpay for Buy Now Pay Later. Gateway availability depends on your country and target markets — we advise on the optimal combination during onboarding to maximise accepted payment methods while minimising processing fees.
Yes — WooCommerce supports physical products, digital downloads (eBooks, software, PDFs, media files), and subscription products with recurring billing (weekly, monthly, or annually). Digital downloads use WooCommerce’s built-in secure download delivery. Subscription functionality requires the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin ($199/yr — paid to WooCommerce directly) and is included in our Professional and Enterprise plans. We also support membership sites, licensing, and product bundles.
Yes — shipping and tax are included in all plans. Shipping covers zone-based rules (local, national, international), flat rate and free shipping thresholds, weight-based shipping, and shipping class configuration. Tax covers automated calculation via WooCommerce Tax, country and state-based rules, and digital goods tax guidance for EU VAT, Australian GST, or US state sales tax as relevant to your markets. For complex multi-country tax situations, we discuss the best configuration approach during onboarding.
To begin your project we need: your brand assets (logo, brand colours, fonts if you have them), product information (names, descriptions, prices, images, and any variations like sizes or colours), your preferred payment gateway accounts (we will guide you to set these up if you do not have them), and your shipping and pricing decisions. We provide a detailed onboarding checklist at project start covering everything needed, so nothing is missed before we begin building.
Yes — every project includes a live training handover session covering how to add and edit products, manage orders, process refunds, update pricing and stock, manage coupons, and navigate your WooCommerce dashboard. We also provide written documentation specific to your store’s setup. WooCommerce is designed to be managed without technical knowledge after setup. For ongoing support, we offer monthly maintenance packages covering updates, security monitoring, backups, and content changes.
